Description: This shawl belonged to Ms. Haslam’s great-grandmother who brought it from Wales when she settled in Jackson. The shawl was passed down to Ms. Haslam’s grandmother (Catherine Jones McGhee, youngest of 18 children), then to her mother (Lola Catherine McGhee Garrity, born in Jackson May 18, 1914) and, then to her, Ann Garrity Haslam.
