Description: four scrapbooks previously belonging to Faye McCoy including her accomplishments and some family photos and clippings, marriage certificate for Walter McCoy and Ella O’Neal (Faye’s father and mother), photograph of Mr. and Mrs. O’Neal who were Faye McCoy’s maternal grandparents.

.100: framed marriage certificate for Walter McCoy and Ella O’Neal with oval photographs of each, seeming 1901 with signature of Mayor of Portsmouth and another as witnesses; .101: framed b/w portrait of Mr. and Mrs. O’Neal, parents of Ella O’Neal McCoy; .102-.104: personal scrapbooks of Miss Faye McCoy mainly personal career accomplishments but with some familial information, photographs, and newspaper clippings. When easily removed from damaging adhesive, the materials were moved to marked envelopes, scanned and digitally preserved; .105: photo album from April 9, 1986 dedication of the Jackson High School Faye McCoy Library. Few items can be removed from the adhesive pages. Three pages of signed guest register with many recognizable names. Nine pages holding 3 photos each but unable to remove, people will be identified as pages are scanned.
