Description: business ledger book from Cavett and Jones Men’s Clothing store, located on Main Street between Broadway and Church streets; 15.5×7.5 inches, handwritten pages April 1898-Nov. 1905, front and back covers and some pages removed from binding.

Time Period: 1898-1905

Cavett and Jones Men’s Clothing store operated in Jackson until the late 1960s, also had an Oak Hill store according to 1960 telephone book. Address later known as 233 Main St. Jackson in 1970s when building/business became The Towne Shop, operated by Clarence Rice.
